The San Antonio Car show was one of the best car shows we ever attended. It had tons of cars and people there. And, lots of cool vehicles.
One of the first vehicles we encountered was this little old school bus - it was the cutest little bus and it tugged my heartstrings:

One of the things that Dan loves to do is photography. He always uses events like these to practice and in spite of his criticism of his own work, I think he's pretty darn good!
This event had two, well make that three of his passions - old Mustangs and cars, photography, and last but not least, moi! LOL. :-) He seemed to focus more on photographing details of cars (and many of them came out really good!).

As for me, I tend to veer towards old trucks, classic mustangs, and other interesting and/or weird vehicles. I must confess that I really love old trucks. Don't ask me why. I just do. I prefer the old ones that have been restored to as close as the original it can get.

One of the weirdest cars we encountered was a very low and compact hot rod. I don't know what it was but when I looked inside, I thought that only a little person could fit and drive that thing.

One of the last vehicles we saw was this cool black hot rod. Dan was taking a picture of some detail on the back of the hot rod when I shot this picture:

And then, Dan managed to take a shot of me taking pictures of him while he was taking pictures of details on the back of the above hot rod - Darn that man!

By the time we finished seeing all the cars and whatnot, we were both hot and tired. We had been at the event for close to two hours. As we were leaving the show, I spied something that got me real excited. I ran and picked it up only to get disgusted and throw it back down on the ground. Dan though it was so funny that he laughed! Sheesh. It was a stupid little folded ad.

And, I knew I was going to be sunburned - I could feel it. I had neglected take along sunscreen and a hat. Here is a picture of me taken approximately 9:00pm that night. My poor face! LOL.

That is all I have for this event. I hope you all enjoyed it. Until next time. :-)
